Modern Slavery Statement

Erda Energy Ltd (Erda) is a professional and conscientious organisation, that recognises that slavery and human trafficking remain hidden blights within our global society. We operate with a zero tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and are committed to ensuring transparency within our business and our supply chains.

Our supply chains include engineering, construction, equipment suppliers and specialist contractors.

This Policy Statement aligns with our SHEQ framework and internal policies and procedures relating to ethical conduct, procurement and supplier management. These policies reflect our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.

We require that all sub-contractors and suppliers refrain from engaging in any such practices, and do not knowingly contract with third parties which do.

Erda has implemented procedures to:

  • Assess and vet new subcontractors
  • Include anti-slavery requirements within contractual agreements
  • Monitor compliance through supplier reviews
  • Take appropriate action where concerns are identified

Relevant employees and directors are required to undertake a modern slavery and human trafficking e-learning course.
Directors and Managers are responsible for ensuring that individuals reporting to them understand and comply with this policy statement.

This policy statement is in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Erda Energy’s slavery and human trafficking statement. This policy is reviewed annually to ensure effectiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
